Software I've Never Been Able To Use

I'm very computer-literate, there's very little software out there that I can't use. However, over the years, there have been a number of software products that have simply thwarted all of my attempts to use them to do anything. Adobe Illustrator and Quark are two that have long been beyond my comprehension, but of late, it's been Google Sketchup. I can't do anything at all with this program, meanwhile, everywhere I turn online people are creating intricate 3D models of buildings and things and I'm stuck at the tutorial on "Copy and Paste". Really.

On the one hand, this is insanely frustrating for me - I can't fathom WHY when I follow the tutorials exactly, what I get is nothing like what the tutorial gives me. Right now, I'm stuck trying to make sphere. A simple damn sphere. So far, I get as far as making the circle from which the sphere will be derived, but I can't copy-paste and rotate the circle. This is like a bus driver with 30 years experience unable to pilot a golf cart, it's just unthinkable.

At least now I can relate to how some less computer literate folks might feel.
